The method
RankPath combines a curated knowledge base of recent counselling cutoffs (JoSAA, CSAB, WBJEEB, IISER, CUET, AIIMS, WB universities) with a structured-output AI model. We feed your rank/percentile/percentage, category, gender pool, quota, and region into a prompt that returns realistic college+course matches with explanations.
Why hybrid?
Pure rule lookups miss context (new IISERs, branch popularity shifts, female-only seat dynamics, board-% inflation). Pure AI hallucinates colleges. We combine both: rule-based filters constrain the search, AI reasons over patterns inside that constraint.
What we don't do
We don't sign you up. We don't sell your data. We don't replace official counselling — predictions are estimates and should be cross-checked with JoSAA / WBJEEB / IISER Admissions / individual university portals before locking choices.
